The book presents a collection of oriental carpets in the Department of Ethnology of the National Museum of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the way in which the carpets came to the National Museum of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Carpet weaving, types of knots, history of knotted carpets, design, composition and motifs on Persian carpets are also presented. The catalogue contains explanations of each individual fragment with accompanying photographs.
