Description
Romani stories and songs served the linguist Rade Uhlik as basic documentary material for his linguistic research and study of the Romani people- Gurbets language in the territory of the former Yugoslavia. The paper presents the transcription, orthographic treatment of the originally written Romani stories with translation into Bosnian language and discussion of their characteristics. This paper represents a historical work in which the role of the Romani people, as age-old objects of research, has changed to the role of subjects who research and study their linguistic and cultural wealth and capital.
