Antun Hangi’s book is the first attempt to comprehensively present the life and customs of Bosnian and Herzegovinian Muslims in one place. Although Hangi’s book is limited to a relatively small space, it represents an extremely important starting point for all subsequent records and especially the study of the customary practices of the Muslim population.
